The best place to go on a date should be decided by the couple. I prefer a casual setting where the noise level is at a minimum and the food is good. Writing a profile takes a lot of thought, time, concentration and preparation. My first profile gave a lot of information but not enough facts about the real me. Spring is almost here and it’s time for a new beginning. I plan to retire in June from my part-time job. There are so many things I want to do with my “free” time. My list, thus far, includes training my chocolate lab to be a service dog, taking voice lessons, having a spa day, going on a cruise, walk the streets of Harlem, write a book, sing karaoke, visit an arboretum, research my genealogy and of course mentoring and/or tutoring. My list is very short at the moment but it will continue to grow.

I have an outgoing personality, I love to laugh. Money is of importance for my daily living but to stash money away for a rainy day and do without is not me - I am a retired government employee but I am working full-time.

I would enjoy a quiet restaurant, walks and a picnic in the park, movies, theatre, sitting and listening to old school music, walking around the Harbor and people watching, going to the zoo, or just about anyplace that two people might mutually enjoy.
